Extremely Rare 1944 Dated Krieghoff Luger, #11226, 9mm, 4'' barrel, salt blue finish with straw small parts, factory molded black checkered plastic grips with smooth border, and two matching numbered blue-bodied extruded magazines with pinned aluminum bases. Chamber dated 1944, standard Krieghoff anchor to central toggle, ''Gesichert/Geladen'' marked thumb safety and extractor, with full complement of Luftwaffe component and inspection markings. In unmarked black leather WWII era holster. Considered extremely rare with only 100 mfg'd in this configuration in 1944. Condition is excellent retaining approx. 96%+ original lightly toning blue.
